Lord Finesse – The SP 1200 Project – Sounds & Frequencies in Technicolor

Five years after the release of his last musical project, Lord Finesse is back with some new material. This time, the legendary East Coast hip-hop artist tries to play with sounds and frequencies in technicolor.

The SP 1200 Project is an ode to the hip-hop movement with a big fusion with other genres, such as jazz. From the beginning of this new musical array, Lord Finesse brings the ’90s nostalgia with the cinematic intro, Lo-fi cinema, which introduces us to an overall chill atmosphere.

Throughout the album, we can hear the redemption of the 90s with massive beats, sounds, and frequencies which remind us of the glory days of East Coast hip-hop music.

Overall, we would have loved to hear some lyrics on the beats, but who knows, maybe someone will try his best to use those beats and make some awesome music in the future. As usual, Lord Finesse has brought his A-game regarding sounds and frequencies and The SP 1200 Project is a statement to this.

All in all, Lord Finesse proves once again that his musical genius is timeless and that he would have been a music guru regardless of the decade or even the century of his musical production, mainly because he has an infinite talent to bring together elements of music new to those who are only accustomed to mainstream music.

Overall, we would give an 8/10 for his new project. The SP 1200 Project – Sounds & Frequences in Technicolor was released on March 7th and is available on Spotify and other music streaming apps.
